Privacy in note writing

I think it was the 2nd grade. I had come home upset from school and my mother, in her effort to comfort me, said "Don't put anything in print that you wouldn't want the whole world to read." I had been caught passing notes. More embarrassing, notes I had written. Written to David, things like "David do you like me?" I still remember the little boxes one with the word 'yes' written next to it and the other with the word 'no.' As if 2nd graders need more direction I had written "check one" although, my spelling wasn't exactly right. This was the beginning of my discretion in note writing.

For that same reason I am skeptical about posting to a blog. Each of us wear so many faces that we select which views see what, so this will be interesting.
